How Do I Get Started?

The process starts with you letting us know your potential interest, then we have a phone conversation. If HGG sounds like a good fit for you, we will walk you through the entire process making it as easy as it possibly can be. Read below for more info on the process of owning you own HGG.

Get To Know Eachother

We start your journey as a potential new Hot Ground Gym franchise owner with a simple 15-30 minute phone call. During this we will see if you are a good fit for us, but just as important, you get to see if we are a good fit for you. This is an honest, open, and confidential conversation between us and you. Schedule your call by clicking the “Contact Us” button.

Brand Review & Questionnaire

Once we talk over the phone, and if us and you feel that HGG may be a good fit, we get to the next step, brand review and confidential questionnaire. Here, you will be given some more information about us, and we will have you complete our questionnaire which will give us the information we will need from you. This is the first big step to owning your own Hot Ground Gym.

FDD & FA Review

The next step is legal document review. The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) which will outline all of the legal information pertaining to Hot Ground Gym’s franchise offering, as well as the Franchise Agreement (FA) which will be our contract for your Hot Ground Gym. Don’t worry, we will not just fire these documents at you and wait. We will schedule a time to go over both documents, to ensure you understand them.

“Discovery Day”

In this step we will schedule a time to take you on a "behind the scenes" tour of a Hot Ground Gym as it’s in action. You will discover the true power of HGG as you get a chance to observe closely and even participate in a portion of the operations on that day. After this, you should be ready to make your own Hot Ground Gym!

Territory, Plan, Training, & Support

This step requires some homework on your part. We will talk with you about where you would like to put your HGG, and then we will review that info and more from a “Limited Business Plan” that we will ask you to create. In this step we will discuss more in-depth our training program for you, as well as the continued support you will receive from us once up and running.

Finalize Documents & FA Signing

This is the final step. Here we will require any documents needed to finalize the Franchise Agreement so we can draft it. Once drafted, we send it to you for your signature. Once signed, we will schedule your initial training dates and then you are “off to the races” as a new Hot Ground Gym owner :)

Kids had a blast, they did lots of activities, lots of running. We have been Hot Ground members for over a year and both my older kids enjoy it every time they attend. In fact, it is my son's "happy place". He has grown so much physically and mentally and also has gained so much confidence. The obstacles can be challenging, but the instructors work with the kids to grow and develop appropriately. The activities are fun, engaging and kids learned to be brave, work together, and try new things. My kids love hot ground gym! They have been going for years are never get tired of it because the missions and obstacles are constantly changing. Every class is carefully planned so that it builds on the skills they worked on the week before and the kids can really see the progress they're making. The instructors are very well trained and make a point of building a relationship with every child as well as their families. Every child is encouraged and taught based on their own capabilities and they leave class feeling accomplished (and tired!). In addition to the physical skills, they are constantly being taught to problem solve, use critical thinking and work together with other kids. As they get older and advance through the ranks, the kids start getting extra responsibilities such as leading missions and helping teach the younger kids. How Much Money does it cost to start a Hot Ground Gym?

According to our Franchise Disclosure Document, your total initial investment can range from 163-317k for fees, equipment and supply purchases, marketing, buildout costs, and 3-6 months of working capital. It could possibly be done cheaper if one was so inclined and/or lucky ;)

How much Money could my gym make?

According to our Franchise Disclosure Document, an HGG’s average annual gross revenue is between 400-500k. With between 100-200k of that being income (profit).

How Long does it take to open a Hot ground gym?

On average from the day you start your business, your gym could be open and running in 3-4 months. Sometimes sooner or later depending on the situation.

How Long is the term of ownership?

According to our Franchise Disclosure Document, your contract will be for 6 years at a time. Plenty of time to make a great business for yourself as you provide a beloved service to the children in your community. As the first contract comes to an end, you can be done, sell it, or renew. Depends on your goals at the time.

Will I get training and help running my business?

We have a realistic and robust training program to get you started, keep you going, and that will set you up for success. Once we have your grand opening together, you will be “on your own”. But never alone. We are always a call or message away to assist you in ANY way you may need.
